There are currently 1,771 food businesses with hygiene ratings in Hammersmith and Fulham. These ratings are given by local authority inspectors following visits to restaurants, takeaways, pubs, cafes, and other food premises.
The Food Hygiene Rating Scheme (FHRS) rates businesses from 0 (urgent improvement necessary) to 5 (very good) based on three criteria: how hygienically food is handled, the condition of the building, and how well the business manages food safety.
