HygieneScout (hygienescout.co.uk) displays food hygiene rating data published by the Food Standards Agency (FSA). We are an independent service and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the FSA or any local authority.
Food hygiene ratings displayed on this site are sourced from the FSA API and are provided as-is. While we update our data daily, we cannot guarantee that all information is current or accurate. Ratings reflect the standards found at the time of the most recent inspection and may not reflect current conditions.
Some establishments in the FSA database may have closed, changed ownership, or been re-inspected since the data was last updated. For the most current rating, check the official FSA website or contact the local authority directly.
Food hygiene rating data is published by the FSA under the Open Government Licence v3.0. This permits free use, adaptation, and redistribution with attribution. HygieneScout attributes the FSA as the data source on every page.
The information on HygieneScout is for general informational purposes only. It does not constitute food safety advice, health advice, or any other form of professional guidance. A high hygiene rating does not guarantee the absence of risk, and a low rating does not necessarily mean food is unsafe to eat at the time of your visit.
