Following the inspection on 7 February, we acknowledge the findings and have taken comprehensive action to address every point raised. The conditions observed on the day were not typical of the standards normally maintained at The New Inn and arose during the introduction of new equipment and processes that had not yet been fully embedded. We have historically achieved high food hygiene ratings, including a previous 5-star score, and we acted immediately to restore those standards.

These improvements were implemented immediately after the inspection and are now fully embedded in daily practice. We are confident that the standards at the premises are fully compliant and reflect the high level of operation our customers rightly expect
