<div> The structural renovations, along with the operational and management</div> <div> system improvements, were not reactive; they were part of a pre-planned</div> <div> overhaul that had been scheduled for several months. Furthermore, our General Manager had only joined the business three weeks prior to the inspection.</div> <div> &nbsp;</div> <div> <div> The conditions on the day, whilst wholly unacceptable, were the result of</div> <div> an unprecedented combination of operational challenges that temporarily</div> <div> halted our pre-planned upgrades and the onboarding of our new General</div> <div> Manager.</div> <div> &nbsp;</div> <div> A sudden family emergency led to my absence from the business for the</div> <div> two weeks prior to and following the inspection, forcing a pause on the</div> <div> building works. Additionally, the inspection date coincided exactly with our</div> <div> Head Chef&#39;s annual leave and our General Manager&#39;s scheduled day off.</div> <div> With the physical disruption of the paused building works and an</div> <div> unexpected absense in senior leadership on the day, our standards</div> <div> unfortunately fell below the high level to which we hold ourselves</div> <div> accountable.</div> <div> &nbsp;</div> <div> Whilst the inspection happened at an unusually challenging time for us, it</div> <div> did expose some specific gaps in our legacy processes. This gave us an</div> <div> opportunity to stress-test our new workflows and refine them prior to full</div> <div> implementation.</div> <div> &nbsp;</div> <div> Since the inspection, the site&#39;s upgrades have now been completed, and</div> <div> operations have returned to our normal high standards.</div> </div>
